This marked the third edition of the Unity Run, bringing his total kilometers to over 1100. In the inaugural Unity Run, he ran 420 kilometers from Mumbai to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat. The second edition in 2022 saw him cover 450 kilometers from Jhansi to the Red Fort in Delhi. Despite the common struggle many face in running, Milind Soman appeared as energetic as he did back in his Captain Vyom days after completing the recent marathon.

Discussing his enduring fitness regime, which demands considerable effort, Milind advises adults to continually challenge themselves. Notably, Milind Soman won a silver medal for India in swimming at the 1984 South Asian Games. When asked about his transition to running, Milind shared, "I didn't exactly switch. I stopped swimming in 1988 and began running in 2003 when I became interested in the Mumbai marathon. Since then, I haven't looked back."
